This router can support more than 200 devices at the same time. Most routers I'm used to hit around 20. Even my gaming router starts resetting devices when it hits around 70. I was looking for a solution that could handle my ever expanding smart device at home. This router fits perfectly! This router was extremely easy to install and set up. I can set it up so that the 2G and 5G bands have different names (default) or a name that lets the router decide which band is best. Since I mainly use it to work with my smart devices, I kept the individual band names as default since almost all smart devices want to work in the 2G band. I use this router by connecting its internet port to one of my old routers. Ports (router behind router). I haven't seen any problems with this configuration with this router. I want to offload all the smart stuff to this router and share my main router. It has made my life so much easier! It's a very basic router, I can't set up port or subnet forwarding etc. It's basically an access point that connects all the smart devices in my house to their own LAN. I can wirelessly connect my phone or computer to this router and get full internet access. This router also has 4Gb LAN ports in case I ever decide to connect wired devices. WiFi signal is excellent. I have it in the middle of my house on the main floor. Its WiFi signal covers my entire house, reaching devices in my basement, second floor, and ground floor. I am very impressed with this router. I'm getting a router that will meet my needs now and allow me to grow in the future! It costs less than a third of what I paid for my gaming router but supports about 3x more devices! I think this is the real deal for under $130. I am very happy with this router. I give 5 stars!
