I read all the reviews before making a purchase decision. I'm not sure if most other buyers are incompetent or just whiny, but I found the loofah to be exactly as described by the seller. They were packaged in brown paper packaging (recyclable!) They came with a card detailing the loofah. As per the instructions, I soaked a loofah in water for 10 minutes and I believe it was full size in 10 minutes. There were a few seeds, but I'm not sure I can grow them into any plants in the Michigan climate. I let the loofah dry overnight and used it in the shower in the morning. I rinsed it off with warm water in the shower and it immediately softened. It is extremely flexible and soft. I was expecting a rough scrub but instead it was quite nice. It doesn't lather your soap as much as the loofah ones, but I didn't mind. I'm glad I took all the other reviews with a grain of salt and bought it anyway.
