This adapter works great! I have connected an Inspiron 7577 to this adapter and it allows me to use the laptop display along with my Dell U3011 at 2560 x 1600 and HP E231i at 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz on all displays. Get this one, if you're doing something like this at 60Hz don't pay double the price for this StarTech. The device does get a little warm after some use, but that's a given. I'll see how this adapter performs over the next few months. For the most part, any craziness can be aimed squarely at the GPU, in my case the Intel HD Graphics 630. Note that it's not listed, though. this device or other devices of this type: You MUST use DisplayPort monitors with this adapter. You CANNOT use HDMI, DVI, VGA etc alone because this device is DisplayPort only. or buy an active converter.
