Review on 🧩 Djeco Animal Parade Puzzle DJ07171 by Robert Sisco

So first things first - Djeco jigsaw puzzles are beautiful, high quality jigsaw puzzles mounted on heavy gauge card in strong, durable boxes. We have several and this is the only time I've been disappointed - we got this puzzle TWICE hoping it was a lemon puzzle first - but it looks like there is a quality control issue with this particular puzzle. With both puzzles we ordered pieces that just didn't fit into place. As an adult I can force/loosen them and make it work, but for small 3 year old hands this has proven extremely frustrating. My analysis of the back of the puzzle showed that where the pattern on the back indicates the puzzle was cut from a single piece, there was no problem. However, it seems that pieces whose backing pattern doesn't match from one piece to the next might not fit well. I think they cut every puzzle but then mix up the pieces with other puzzles - and unfortunately they're not as interchangeable as one might think. Given Revain's liberal return policy, I would simply suggest that an adult sit down and look at the puzzle. right out of the box before you give it to a young man. return/exchange if necessary
