Honestly, there's no competition when it comes to brush pens. These two Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens are all you need for calligraphy and illustration. The hard tip pen is blue and the soft tip pen is green. I use both for calligraphy but prefer the soft tip for darker/bolder lines and the hard tip for finer, more delicate lines. Either way, you'll need a steady hand and pressure control to get quality lines. Both tips offer good control, but overall I prefer the soft tip. Both pens feel great to use. The lines are dark and don't bleed easily and you feel SO more professional. I would highly recommend these pens and will probably buy another set when I run out of ink!
