WARNING: DO NOT BUY THESE FAKE, DRY HANDS.

Well I took a chance buying these pens despite other one star reviews, assuming they were just unlucky. Spring. I'm one of the unlucky ones now. When I received my pens they were both dry and inconsistent when writing. Terrible mascara, not worth the money. Fake and they do not allow returns. You can take risks like me and most likely be disappointed when you get them because they suck and the seller sucks.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Nothing

Great feeling, great quality!

Honestly, there's no competition when it comes to brush pens. These two Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens are all you need for calligraphy and illustration. The hard tip pen is blue and the soft tip pen is green. I use both for calligraphy but prefer the soft tip for darker/bolder lines and the hard tip for finer, more delicate lines. Either way, you'll need a steady hand and pressure control to get quality lines. Both tips offer good control, but overall I prefer the soft tip. Both pens feel great…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it

Ink runs out very quickly

I really like these pens and would like to give them 5 stars but to be honest I'm very disappointed. I ordered both soft tip and hard tip packs. I've recently become interested in handwriting and these pens had great reviews so it made sense to buy them. I've had these pens for less than 3 days. 3 days and the ink doesn't even come out of the pen the whole time. I have to redo everything I write 2-3 times to get the solid black I once had when the pens were new. I understand that ink doesn't…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Boring packaging

I studied graphic design and I am an artist with a passion for illustration, handwriting and calligraphy. I decided to try the new brush pens and settled on these two options: Tombow Fudenosuke and Pentel Sign Pen. At first I liked the drawing pen for its smoothness and slightly thicker line. Both offer the blackest color and excellent liquid delivery. But one day I spilled some water and my Pentel scribbles spread all over the page while my Tombow scribbles stayed perfectly color stable. It…

Pros
  • Office and school supplies
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great way to try both pens and see which one works for you

I'm new to brush lettering so bought this one to try. I've also tried several other pens and these are the only ones I can write with (due to inexperience no doubt). So for the nobility painting lettering this is a great place to start. Everyone is different, but for now I prefer a hard brush to a soft one. That may change as I gain experience, but now I have more control with a stiff brush. I've had one of these before and have already made good progress with the lettering. I've watched…

Pros
  • Calligraphy pens
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great for learning brush writing!

I've recently started learning how to write letters with a brush and these pens are great for that! I started out with the Tombow Dual Brush Pen Art Markers, Primary, 10-Pack but was having a hard time getting used to holding the grip while thinking about making subtle upward strokes and hard downward strokes due to their very soft marker tip . I thought I'd get something more pen-like for brush lettering so I could reduce movement and that's when I came across the Tombow Fudenosuke pens. Well…
