Great for learning brush writing!

I've recently started learning how to write letters with a brush and these pens are great for that! I started out with the Tombow Dual Brush Pen Art Markers, Primary, 10-Pack but was having a hard time getting used to holding the grip while thinking about making subtle upward strokes and hard downward strokes due to their very soft marker tip . I thought I'd get something more pen-like for brush lettering so I could reduce movement and that's when I came across the Tombow Fudenosuke pens. Well if you have never used them I would really, really recommend getting this set with both hard and soft tips! At first I was inclined to buy a hard tip pen, but after reading a few reviews opinions about hard and soft tips were everywhere and I wasn't sure if I was getting the right product for my needs. I'm very glad I chose this pack because now after using it for a while I can definitely say I prefer the soft tip! It requires minimal effort to achieve thin and clear strokes. Both pens have large, pointed tips that write the finest lines with light pressure and amazingly strong lines with strong pressure. The difference between them is difficult to explain. As for brush writing, if you tend to write harder and with more pressure in general, I think you'll like a hard tip. If, like me, you tend to write with light pressure, a soft tip is the way to go! The soft tip isn't too spongy, allowing you to control your curves and create great buttery smooth, powerful strokes without having to apply too much pressure. The hard tip is a bit stiffer, and I've found it easy to just write with the same line width when you can't distinguish between light and heavy pressure. The hard tip is a dark blue pen with a green Japanese character and the soft tip is a very dark green pen with a blue Japanese character on it. Both pens have black watercolor ink. I've attached an image showing how they differ in spelling!
