by and by Dishwasher Dishwasher in cabinet when we connected 3/ 8" compression fitting for hot water supply, it was leaking all over the place from this fitting. Shortly thereafter, the hose simply slipped off the fitting. This drain hose has never been crimped onto the end of a compression fitting. I had to use a small clamp to attach the hose to the fitting. My biggest fear right now is that the hose at the end of the dishwasher won't get kinked and get under the dishwasher. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS ITEM unless you first make sure both ends are properly attached (which has never been a problem in 30 years of construction).
