Short lived, does not remove material as it should for grit

I was trying to sand a cabinet door using 120 grid blocks. They fell apart after being immediately clogged with worn material. I then took a 120 grid 3M sheet and cut it through, completing the job with ease. These blocks are a waste of money. Not even hard enough to use as a block under sandpaper.
