Review on πŸ–±οΈ Glorious Large Gaming Mouse Mat/Pad - Premium White Cloth Mousepad with Stitched Edges, 11"x13" (GW-L): Ultimate Performance Enhancer for Gamers by Justin Cranford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice mousepad, but it seems to have very subtle bumps, like a tiny grain of sand stuck in it?

So, as of today, January 25, 2017, I received this product. This was the BIG version. I will try to update this review over time if anything notable happens with my use of this product. Pros: - So even though it was curled/rolled, it was able to straighten out pretty well after unpacking. I plan on putting some books on it at night to really smooth it out. Size: 13x15 inches. Good size, probably 2.5 times the size of a regular mouse pad. If your table is too small, the rug may be too big. But that worked fine for me. I think it's a good size that gives enough room for the mouse to move around without being so big that it takes up too much space. Texture: it's good. It feels pretty durable on the top and the bottom is very rubberized with a chevron pattern. So far it's been a pleasure to hover over it with the mouse. The main reason I took the star off was that as I ran my hands over it I could feel some random nicks and bumps that were scattered around. Not too many, maybe like 4 or so. Basically it's like having a tiny grain of sand under/in the seal. - Firmware: looks good. It's double stitched but the edges aren't too high to get in the way. What I like. Cons: - I can't tell if I received a slightly defective device or if all mouse pads have this issue, but when I ran my hand over the pad I felt a few small bumps. Not too many, but enough to get noticed. Basically, it's like a tiny grain of sand stuck in the material. It's not too obvious and I don't think it affects mouse movement. I hope it flattens out over time, or if I put some weight on it. (And I used a smooth, flat surface to test this and there was a slight bumpy feel there.) If anyone could explain why this is and whether it's normal (or not), I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, this is a perfectly satisfactory mouse pad. On the other hand, I've had very cheap mouse pads in the past, so I don't have much experience in this matter.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
