This fully meets the requirements for a lightweight dog crate (or any other pet) that doesn't exceed the weight limit of my roof box (Thule 22cf) times two. I have two German Shepherds that have tested the limits of these boxes. First, they didn't roll the cage (not sure if that would be the case if your pet wasn't in the cage), clean up well after peeing/vomiting, dry quickly when wet, close easily behind them, two entrances are convenient, they care about the food (your pet may be different), and their drawers fit nicely in a typical queen hotel double room with little furniture movement. My 10 year old son and I built and broke these boxes dozens of times on our recent trip with them with no major problems. It requires a bit of balancing to unzip the zipper and return the crossbars to their parallel position and zip the zip back up (it's a good idea to leave the zip closed as this will keep the drawer skin taut and make it easier to pull out can be folded up). You even look pretty. My only issue was my 110lb 9 month old male ran through the smaller side entrance when we didn't lock it and once it was locked (I corrected my pet's size because he is 75lbs. My sister has didn't do that) ) )) Both times she zipped it up and unzipped it. He couldn't make it through the big side door. We mitigated this by leaning that side against a wall or covering it with a blanket. In general, soft boxes with excellent form (appearance, color pattern, etc.) and functionality met our needs.
