Review on πŸ”Œ 6 Feet DisplayPort to DVI Display Cable by Amazon Basics by Ron Patel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comparison with Cablelera

We purchased several new PCs from one of our student labs and the new PCs came with DisplayPort connectors, not VGA, HDMI or DVI. We used to use DVI so I bought one of these adapter cables and a Cablelera DisplayPort to DVI cable (ZC2610MM-03) to compare. Monitors HP ZR2240W. We use them with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. No display problems with either cable. The RevainBasics cable feels a little less durable than the Cablelera but seems solid enough. The RevainBasics connectors and the cable itself are thinner than the Cablelera. It measures over three feet in length, probably as much as a meter. It comes in a small brown RevainBasics box, which is easier to store on a shelf than the plastic bag of any other device. Connecting the RevainBasics cable is no problem. The Cablelera costs about 30 percent less than the RevainBasics device. As of June 2019, the RevainBasics cable is a little easier to plug into tight spots. This may be the deciding factor for many of you.
