I bought 5 or 6 of these extenders - mainly for traveling and to keep in my briefcase for the time I'm on site at the customers spends. The earlier ones seemed to work fine. Last purchase USB ports didn't turn on my devices at all (Samsung s9, iPad). I contacted Belkin support; They kindly sent me a replacement but it doesn't work either. Every time I plug something into one of the USB sockets (even individually), the device returns a message stating that it is "not charging". I'm tired of fighting them. Switch to something else. FYI, I haven't had this issue with the Belkin 6 Outlet/2 USB Wall Surge Protector. (Although it's almost impossible to plug 6 ports into this device, it's still better than non-working USBs.)
