Review on 🦩 DPIST Flamingos Car Windshield Sun Shade: Ultimate Protection to Keep Your Vehicle Cool and Sunburn-Free by Jason Ampongan

Super cute - but what a mess!

I bought this for my first new car because it fit! It had "Flamingo" written on it (how odd), but it looked cute on the windshield. It was too small for a windshield but the suction cups worked fine for the first week. They made it difficult for me to hang up/down quickly and I managed to lose one of them completely within the first week. I managed to rotate the visors to keep them in place as I still liked the design. Then about two weeks later I noticed strange flakes in the car - I didn't drive much and couldn't figure out where they were coming from - so I just removed them further. Eventually he noticed the pattern on the sun visor was fading and he put two and two together - that was right at the moment I took off the sun visor and I swear it blew up - flakes were raining everywhere. Sigh. In the trash can and I'm at the car wash with free vacuums. That was a few months ago (yes, I'm typing that slowly) and I'm still finding these damn flakes all over the car. So be careful - it can work great if not actually exposed to the sun!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
