I needed one of these as both of my machines have roll errors. It could easily connect and read Subaru and Chevy codes. There's a little button with a red light on the device, I have no idea what it's for, but as it doesn't affect its main function - whatever! The instructions on the device refer to using the "Car Scanner" app. I was able to use them to clear the codes of both cars with this device. The only downside of this device is that it has the same name as any other odbII. the reader is over there. It would be helpful if it had a unique name so I know which device I need to refer to and which was my old reader.
