Purchased with extended tips for accessing those hard to reach places. The gun heats the glue to the point where it can easily penetrate the long tips. Doesn't stay perfectly on the stand when the power cord is twisted. Suggest buying longer glue sticks. If you are using 4 inch sticks you will need two. The second is needed to push the first through the gun. Once the end of the second reaches the back of the gun, you'll need additional sticks to push the glue further forward. The tips were easy to replace. Recommend removing/cleaning the long tips after each session (once they have cooled). I left the long tip without scraping off the glue. It took quite a while for the long tip to straighten heated enough for the glue to move.
