Why nobody discusses the mouse's sensor is beyond me. It's well made, comfortable to use (I don't need a big one—it fits on a small rug), aesthetically pleasing (gray), has clear and effective two-way communication, is quiet and has a normal wheel (neither crunches nor rumbles), and has a switch and a dock for the transmitter. Inconveniences are listed below: Don't think twice about purchasing this mouse. The mouse's pointer is erratic, and it seems to do so for all M220 mice (this is not a marriage; the mouse simply has an abnormally sensitive sensor). And no amount of Windows configuration will help. When the sensitivity is lowered, the cursor moves more slowly on the table, and you'll need to intercept the mouse three times to move from the top to the bottom of the screen. The "miracle" mouse will be smashed against the wall after 6 hours of your torture, I guarantee it. The irony is that you won't get far by opening the mouse and fiddling with the internals in an attempt to fix the issue (by, say, adjusting the LED or the mouse's height). Put this mouse back where you found it and get a regular mouse instead. A rug was used to test the mouse.
