He'll fix the pool vinyl, but.

First, the most common complaint about this application is that it doesn't stick. As with all self-adhesive products, you MUST rub or press hard enough to force the film of water away from the adhesive. If you do, it will really stick. We have a 15x25 oval pool that we bought in 1983 to "see if we really wanted a pool". Here it is, 36 years later, with the original inlay. The chipmunk burrowed into the sand and made a spot where it fell through, someone stepped on it and we had a 3 corner flare about an inch on each foot. This stopped the leak, although playing Frogman while trying to work was frustrating. The bad part: TWICE's box says "This is a temporary repair." Fair warning. So I'll be switching to a solvent soon. Short answer: Squeeze the film of water out of the connection area and it will stop the leak immediately. If you don't, you can watch the patch float away.
