DETAILED OVERVIEW Such magnets are difficult to manufacture as the material is incredibly brittle. Many of the rare earth magnets I've received lately have some flaws. The coating is intact but pitting or very small parts may be missing. Only one in this pack had 3 very small, minor surface defects and the outer coating was intact. Stains do not affect the function or durability of the magnet. The quality of these magnets is as good or even better compared to others I have purchased. These magnets are no joke.
