The blue one my 8yr old accidently ripped trying to put it on herself. The black one is still holding up really well. It's comfortable for my child. It's snug but not brain squeezing tight. Water still gets in and typically the edges and back hair is wet after swimming. No swim cap alive will keep the hair completely dry bc that's not their sole purpose. The purpose of a swim cap is to reduce drag and keep hair outta the pool drain. It's a plus if you can reduce chlorine absorbtion bc it's very drying to the hair
