Very very thin. Keeping your house at 75-80 degrees is good enough for pajamas. The fabric is thick, not soft at all. Feels very cheap. I was very disappointed. I can leave it for my kid to wear under the fleece as it is so thin. We keep our house at 70-68 in the winter so it won't be enough. I think it would be good for those who use portable blankets. My kid can't stand them.
