I like this bracelet. The fit is just as good as the original strap and it looks great. After wearing it for a few weeks now, I've lost my Gear Fit2 more times than I can count due to the strap detaching from the device, although I've made sure it "snaps" in place every time I put it on. Also, the little piece that holds the extra strap to the strap doesn't have a small protruding piece of strap material, so the running end of the strap slips out several times an hour. In general, this group does not cope at all with what it is intended for. I'm just lucky I didn't lose my gear. Today I almost lost it (twice) while fly fishing in the river. UPDATE WITH PHOTOS AND HANDLING: It occurred to me that I should take a look at some of my original Gear Fit2 straps to see how they compare to this replacement. Group. Of course, metal, screws, plastic latch and, most importantly, a higher quality spring. You can see it in the photos. The spring is probably the biggest contributor to the failure of this replacement belt. The spring of Samsung's original strap is very tight and difficult to compress, while the spring of the new strap is "soft" and compresses too easily. So I decided to swap out Samsung parts for their counterparts in this replacement strip. And don't you know it works! MUCH tighter. So if, like me, you kept your original band, all you have to do is swap out the parts! You only need a small screwdriver and about 5 minutes. I also recommend cleaning the parts and the area where they connect to the Gear Fit itself. Note that this still doesn't solve the problem of the missing little protruding piece of rubber in the strap mount, but I'm using the older one I had. from another failed attempt at replacement, in addition to the one that came with this strap.
