Good product; different thermal expansion properties (mount and mirror) may crack the mirror.

I like the much improved - much wider view behind me. The only drawback is that the mirror rattles at certain temperatures, up to the point of falling out of the holder. At other temperatures, the mirror may "jam" in the mount and with a bit of luck at another temperature change, the mount may crack the mirror. They leave expansion joints on the roads to keep the pavement from deforming; the same thing happens here.
