As long as you know exactly how to use this tool, it's worth its weight in gold. It's easy to abuse as you just have to catch the thin outer edge of the arm's base where it slides over the post. It's easy to crawl under the rack itself, then you get nowhere. When used correctly and with precision, this tool is the ONLY way to remove typical wiper arms from their pins. It may take a little finesse and patience, but they will come off. This is a necessary tool for fine-tuning the position of the arms on the uprights, as they often need to be removed and replaced to get the correct position.
