Review on πŸ‹ KitchenAid Lemon Squeezer - No Mess Citrus Juicer, One Size by Terri Owen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Note that it cannot handle oranges or grapefruit

I think it is less prestigious or more inconvenient to call it a lemon/lime squeezer, but you should know that it cannot handle larger citrus fruits. This only applies to lemons and limes. However, it does an amazing job and is easy for those of us who don't have human hands. I've never tried this type of juicer before and have always used either an old school wooden reamer (which works great but is messy and forces you to pass through the pulp and seeds) or an electric juicer. A powerful electric juicer is really the best option, as traditional electric juicers require you to cut off the entire rind and pit of citrus before juicing, and larger, more powerful electric juicers can actually digest tons of oranges. and grapefruit, and a quick twist leaves an almost creamy juice. I was surprised how well it worked. Simply stand on the counter, add half a lemon or lime (crushed) and squeeze. It usually spits out some juice on the sides, especially if you press hard and want to extract as much juice as possible. At the bottom is a juicer that can hold at least a couple of lemons or limes, as well as a handy spout. This is a durable cookware that I think will last a long time. Not sure what the difference is between this and another KitchenAid juicer that has been on sale at Revain for a long time: www.amzn.com/B076KPDNXR. I see some reviews on this other site complaining that the plastic handle on the counter tends to break. I really hope that doesn't happen with this one. This is not visible in the photo, but the bottom handle is plastic. Actually, both parts should have been made of aluminum.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Safety
