Good quality piece overall, very good for the money in my opinion. A little smaller than I was expecting which is a good thing as it takes up less space on the bar, and I was able to mount it close enough to not have to change my grip to use it. It does ring just once every time you "thumb" the lever, but it's clear and very loud. Probably every 8 or 10 times when using it it does "misfire" and instead of a bright ring it's more of a thump, but it's no problem to just hit the lever again. I'm pleased with the purchase, I almost talked myself into getting one of the really nice $50 bells but just couldn't justify it for a bell, this was a good compromise and the quality of the parts seems excellent so far. If someone stole it I'd just order another one instead of shopping the astounding number of bike bell options out there.
