I used this item to remove old putty from a bathroom. It was my first time doing this and I had no idea what I was doing. I've researched the internet, watched videos on You Tube and found that this little tool can help me. Again I wasn't expecting much because it's only a small tool and I had all my items ready to remove the seal. I used this little tool and had a blade tool and was very interested in using this item to remove all of the sealant in the surrounding tub. I didn't need the blade and I didn't use it. I only removed the sealant surrounding the tub but it took about an hour because my husband had tried the sealer before and I had to remove some sealant. This little device saved my life. VERY exciting, when I removed the seal I felt very good. I used a 45 degree tool to remove the gasket then used a sharp edge for the spots where it just wouldn't come out and it worked great removing everything. I love this product I started using to remove sealant from my kitchen sink and will seal it too. It's very exciting and I love this topic!
