In general, the table works. As per other reviews, the palm rests are too hard and I use this table upside down. Since there are mouse pads on both sides, this is perfectly doable. You just have to deal with the curved edge of the table digging into your stomach. The pockets and the carrying handle on the desk are very practical. My complaints about the desk aren't that great that it should be replaced any time soon. However, if I were to buy a new lap table, I would look at other tables first. Advantages: carrying handle. It is very easy to move the table with it. Two zip pockets. I have no problem carrying my mouse in one bag and my laptop charger in another bag. One side of the bags is attached with Velcro, so you can hang the bags as you like. Depreciation - two pillow bag strips. This gives space for zipped pockets and is supposed to promote air circulation so that your knees do not overheat. I've never noticed hot knees before, so I think it's working. Cons: - The palm rest hurts my wrists so I use the table upside down. With both mouse pads, the table can even be used upside down. The lap table sits low on me. This is entirely subjective and may suit you. I have to sit cross-legged or propped up to keep the keyboard high enough to type comfortably for long periods of time. - Not suitable for full keyboard. I use a full size keyboard (with number pad) for work and it leaves very little desk space for my mouse. However, this desk would be the right size for a keyboard without a number pad.
