Nice desk but uncomfortable for legs

I used to use Sophia and Sam's kneeling desk (maroon in S&S photo). I was very comfortable on my knees with the memory foam wedge but the coating on the top had peeled off and it looked terrible so I thought I'd give this one a try. The upper is of much better quality but I didn't find it as comfortable on my feet. I liked the whole wedge - this one basically has 2 "pockets" on the bottom (see picture) that didn't stay still while typing. It's also a bit wider. That might be fine for some, butโ€ฆ

Convenient and flexible to use, only one small problem.

I have had the same LapGear Lap Desk in the past and found it very useful. I like it. It's roomy enough for my mouse and keyboard on my main PC and roomy enough for my laptop when I want to use the lap table in bed. But now that I have this second one, I can say with certainty that they have a slight recurring problem. The padding that your palms rest on will stretch and warp over time. That doesn't mean it just peels off the plastic, which wouldn't be the worst as I would just stick it backโ€ฆ

Does the job, trust other top reviews

As a lap table, it's not much different than a piece of plastic, a flimsy cushion and a hard, uneven surface. wrist brace. I bought it cheap, on sale for $19. In this case I feel like I should have released 10 more for a better version. Filling - foam balls. something like a beanbag. While this makes the underside stiffer, it's not really a cushion for your laptop. It's not bad, but nothing to praise either. Either way, it's too stiff and I can't adjust the fluff. It's basically a hardโ€ฆ

The palm rest is a problem

In general, the table works. As per other reviews, the palm rests are too hard and I use this table upside down. Since there are mouse pads on both sides, this is perfectly doable. You just have to deal with the curved edge of the table digging into your stomach. The pockets and the carrying handle on the desk are very practical. My complaints about the desk aren't that great that it should be replaced any time soon. However, if I were to buy a new lap table, I would look at other tables first.

Uncomfortable and overpriced. This old product deserves to be retired.

Technically, this product does what it says on the tin: it has a comfortable large carrying handle, it has an air gap to limit heat transfer from the laptop to your feet, it has mouse pads on both sides for links - or right-handed and is made of very durable plastic. I'm writing this review with a plastic bin lid to tell you why none of these features are important. You can make your own lap table from common household materials. Anything hard and flat will do, but a large baking sheet with aโ€ฆ
