Uncomfortable and overpriced. This old product deserves to be retired.

Technically, this product does what it says on the tin: it has a comfortable large carrying handle, it has an air gap to limit heat transfer from the laptop to your feet, it has mouse pads on both sides for links - or right-handed and is made of very durable plastic. I'm writing this review with a plastic bin lid to tell you why none of these features are important. You can make your own lap table from common household materials. Anything hard and flat will do, but a large baking sheet with a couple of car wash sponges taped to the bottom works best. to reach with your limited knowledge about the round table. Well, this product offers no such benefit. There's quite a bit going for this product: the carrying handle is admittedly extremely comfortable, and the split beanbag-like cushions do keep your laptop from melting your feet, but that comes at the expense of a less-comfortable, narrower cushion width. The mouse pockets are really big enough to fit a mouse in and there is velcro to keep the pockets out of the way so the mouse doesn't dig into your leg. Okay, we're done with the positive stuff. Now it's time to consider a few points: not caring about the environment. This product is mainly made of plastic. It doesn't have a recycling logo, which means if it breaks it goes to a landfill. Of course it will take several years, but nothing lasts forever. Hold on to the mouse! The only thing that keeps the mouse from falling off the table, off the mat is the palm rest. If you're watching a movie and shifting your weight while tilting the desk stand to one side, there's a good chance your mouse will fall onto the floor (or the couch, or wherever you are). it is necessary to solve this problem; A rubber strip on the sides and top of the board would do the trick without adding thickness. A predetermined angle of inclination! Other boards in this price range that are actually made by the same company have adjustable incline. This board forces you to have a positive lean angle, and here's the worst: Positive lean is less ergonomic than negative lean. Speaking of ergonomics: wrist support. It's a tall plastic protrusion covered in mousepad material, meaning it still feels like a hard plastic protrusion digging into your wrists. It's twice the height of my laptop and almost the same height as my mouse. Palm rests are anti-ergonomic while palm rests are good for ergonomics. I'm basically squeezing my nerves between mousepad fabric and bone with this thing, and it's so big I can't just ignore it. There are no ventilation openings for the laptop fan. This is another case where a DIY lap table would be better: adding airflow holes or even ducts specifically for your laptop. This desk doesn't even try to have universal cooling holes, which my laptop desperately needs. Now finally if none of this has won you over and you feel you need this heirloom. the core is made of cardboard. I will still use this product, that's it. suitable for my purpose, but please do not follow in my footsteps.
