This little device is worth the money. This is a Bluetooth dongle that connects to your vehicle's ODB2 diagnostic port and communicates with the MaxiAP200 smartphone app provided by the device manufacturer (Autel). Compared to $10 ELM327 Bluetooth dongles that connect to popular smartphone diagnostic apps (like the excellent Torque app), this device offers advanced vehicle diagnostics as well as some nifty services like key programming (for some cars). The key point to pay attention to. With this device, specific vehicle support is limited to one brand. If you have several cars but one manufacturer, for example Toyota, then there is no problem. However, if you have multiple vehicles from different manufacturers, you'll have to shell out $15 a year for additional manufacturer support if you want to use the manufacturer's diagnostic features. As other reviewers point out, this app has some quirks, like downloading brand-specific vehicle data with each use instead of just once. Hopefully this will be fixed in future versions. I just bought it for the key programming feature (LIMITED TO SELECTED VEHICLES) for my Honda Accord. The additional diagnostic functions are just the icing on the cake. I would also like to acknowledge the excellent support from the seller (Motorzone). I'm not used to sellers who really know the products they're selling, especially the specs. For example, I couldn't find the MaxiAP200 companion app on the Google Play Store, but the seller quickly provided me with a QR code to download the app from the manufacturer. I also wasn't sure if this unit supported key programming for my Honda, but again the seller was quick to send me an Autel product capability chart and I was able to verify that this key actually supported the immobilizer programming required to add a new key.
