One lasted ten months

I have a bad history with these units. I can't find any that last more than a year; USB ports always give out. I bought two of this model ten months ago and the USB ports on one of them stopped working this week. Also, the screws are very small. They worked to keep the block from sliding off my table, but they didn't penetrate deep enough to withstand any significant force.
