Review on 🔧 Yost 750E Rotating Bench Vise: The Ultimate Versatile Tool for Precision and Flexibility by Bob Vulpes

Edit 3/8/2018: I spoke to Yost customer service about the base swivel Pat was friendly, helpful and after filling out the warranty email - Forms they sent without hesitation to the new base. It arrived and I installed it today. The new locking plate in this base works great - the bolts don't twist and the pivoting action is smooth and easy. I've changed this rating from 4 to 5 stars to recognize both the great vise and excellent customer service. First review: I've unknowingly suffered from small cheap vises for years have Yost. The thing is really solid, and with the exception of the swivel base, it runs smoothly and seems well made. However, the swivel base is terrible. The construction should be fine, but the casting for the stop disc is terrible; The bolt recesses are too large, causing the bolts to bind and seize when the base is rotated. Since I won't be using this feature on a day-to-day basis, I'll live with it and enjoy the parts of the vise that I use. However, highly recommended.
