I've seen them for a long time and never thought of buying a set. I work with tiny beads and flat backs and I always drop them and the bead is lost forever. However, I never thought of getting it. Ha ha. I finally got them for the work I'm doing now and I have to say why I waited so long! They save time and are very helpful. Even if the little wax tip falls off, it's made of wax and is easy to stick back on. It really doesn't matter much. I think it's made in such a way that if you put too much glue on it and make it that way, you won't be able to work with it. All you have to do is pour the wax somewhere else and make another neat ball and you can glue it back onto the little stick. I'm an artist and we have erasers that work like this. Too much coal, no big deal! Just knead it until you like it and can't work with it anymore. The same applies to this tool. I recommend anyone working with any type of beads to get them. If you're complaining about the wax peeling off, this may not be for you. If you're serious about pearls, you can shell out about $29 for a different look. It is a multimedia tool for capturing Crystal Katana. The rest of us who leave good reviews know that wax is easy to reapply and why it's done that way. I highly recommend them. Reasonable price, lifesaver.
