When I ordered this mount I was expecting a bathroom vanity mirror style neck but was surprised by the strong steel neck! Despite this, it is easy to install and bend into the desired position. It does have a slight vibration issue when not used with the included boost clip, but that's due to the approximately 2-foot length of the neck and isn't a design flaw. The adjustable mounting head is pretty sturdy, with two different mounting brackets for larger and smaller devices. The instructions are a bit lacking, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. The kit includes a pair of different heavy-duty mounts for different mount/angle configurations. It easily attached to the passenger seat bolt in my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis and curved to come out between the seats and cup holder/ashtray where I wanted. My Revain Fire HD8 fits snugly in the smaller of the mounts and easily runs the Tourqe Pro app and reads data from my OBD2 Bluetooth adapter. This was accomplished by downloading the Google Play Store and downloading Torque Pro (Shhh. It's a secret!). All in all it's a good mount that can hold anything from the iPad mini to the miniature iPhone 4 and still look good doing it.
