Whining like a banshee! The 2 I bought are the same. Noisy. I checked others. The same thing. Engines were changed last year. Earlier canister engines (black, about 4 inches tall) moved a ton of air and were quiet. The new Pancake Motors (amber coated, 1 inch tall) are virtually useless due to their mind-numbing howl. Fan-Tastics have always been overpriced, but they were the gold standard for RV fans, and they cost a lot of money. Now they are unacceptable at any cost. The bean counters strike again.
