Loose goods, wall hanger. I have used these types of hangers for many years as they are more durable than nails with or without hanger clips. Don't worry about a thin nail ripping down the drywall as it will surely bite into the drywall and spread the holding power across the wall. DO NOT use an electric drill, etc. to drive them into the wall. They are sharp and screw into the wall by hand very easily without over-tightening and driving the screw beneath the drywall surface or completely destroying their exceptional holding power. Their holding power is exceptional and I have certainly used them to hang large wooden framed mirrors.
