When it came time to replace a badly leaking rocker cover gasket on my 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX I looked everywhere for a recommended Hondabond or Subaru version called the Fujibond. I chose Hondabond. This material was very easy to work with and sealed very well. Be sure to clean all mating surfaces to remove ALL oil, grease, dirt and previous gasket material. I used non-chlorine brake cleaner. I spent over 2 hours doing a thorough cleaning to ensure I don't have to come back and repeat this procedure any time soon. Another thing you need to do is wait 24 hours for curing. There are many people who start the engine as soon as the work is done and regret it. I waited and didn't see a single drop of oil leak out for 4000 miles. I recently changed and checked the oil. Overall I would highly recommend the Hondabond when replacing a VCG.
