This is a valve cover for a Honda mower

DO NOT use this Hondabond 4. HB4 is liquid, sticky and gets on everything and then leaks. HB HT is the ideal product for valve covers. One tube is enough for 4-5 coats if not cured in the tube before next use.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Weight

Genuine Honda product

Really great product! Dries relatively quickly and application is easy. If you use it on valve covers, make sure you don't apply it too hard lest it break in the cap after everything is bolted together. I've used it before and it lasts a long time unlike other brands. would definitely buy again. Mine arrived in less than 3 days.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not the best

Buy Once Cry Once - Gasket

The best silicone on the market. This material is durable and reliable. I use this stuff when rebuilding engines because I know it will last a long time. Adhesion is amazing. If you've ever dropped a genuine Honda transmission or oil pan, you know what I'm talking about. You can pull out all the bolts and hang on the pallet without getting loose. I just want you to get more for the price!

Definitely Hondabond

The cap on mine didn't close very tightly so I believe the stuff has cured about 3/4 inch in the tube after 2 months of non-use. I drilled a hole in it with a small drill and then squeezed the shit out of the tube like hell until the end of the tube opened up, I rolled up the end and squeezed it twice more with some pliers and then the stuff came out the hole I had drilled.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Great gasket maker, no more leaks!

This gasket works very well on mating surfaces. It's easy to spread it out in a thin layer with a Kroger card (or whatever perk card you have). I used this on a cylinder head valve cover on my dual sport bike. The valve cover was designed without a gasket, so a liquid gasket is required. I tried a few Permatex suggestions but they all leaked. This stuff works very well and won't leak the big Italian single cylinder engine like it used to.

Pros
  • Feels Good
Cons
  • Weak Set

OMG THE BEST VCG RTV KNOWN TO MANKIND!

When it came time to replace a badly leaking rocker cover gasket on my 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX I looked everywhere for a recommended Hondabond or Subaru version called the Fujibond. I chose Hondabond. This material was very easy to work with and sealed very well. Be sure to clean all mating surfaces to remove ALL oil, grease, dirt and previous gasket material. I used non-chlorine brake cleaner. I spent over 2 hours doing a thorough cleaning to ensure I don't have to come back and repeat thisโ€ฆ
