I have ordered a Sony Bravia XBR-65A9F subwoofer and a SA-CS9 subwoofer together but the subwoofer does not come with a suitable cable supplied for connection to the television. This cable was needed to complete the work. The end result is really great. The new Sony Bravias have excellent sound in the upper frequency ranges, as the sound is now coming through the front screen and not projected from the rear like on older models. But they are still weak at low frequencies. This subwoofer is the perfect companion. Once the cable is connected, all you have to do is go into the settings and set the external speaker mode to "Subwoofer".
