When I received the product I was a bit dismayed at the short length of the USB-C to USB-A cable that was supposed to power the basic . Then I remembered that the flashlight had a battery, which allowed it to be used without a cord. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the battery was fully charged. I simply installed the clip and attached the flashlight to the laptop screen. I turned it on and at first thought it was dim because it wasn't blindingly bright like the previous light I was using. However, as soon as I opened my video conferencing app and looked at my picture, I found that there was more than enough light. The "before and after" images were incomparable, as the "after" image was much brighter and more evenly lit than the "before" images with no light. I look forward to using this light for my 8+ hours of virtual classes starting next week. I will provide more information on battery life and product life at a later date.
