I had previously ordered two battery powered fans for my campsite to avoid wasting electricity from my solar array, but they were so cheaply made that it was clear they wouldn't last; one worked for about 5 minutes and stopped working. When someone recommended it online, I decided to give it a try. It's MUCH better together. The clamp is very strong, the quality of the plastic is much better and I'm glad I have it for my next off-road trip. Tested how much it draws from my solar charge controller and it was pretty minimal; it is worth having air in my tent or car at night.
