Review on KEXMY Mosquito Trap: Your Ultimate Solution for Mosquito Control and Fly Elimination with Electric Swatter, Glue Boards, and Blue Light by Monique Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great but probably one of the most expensive options

I have a problem with fruit flies every summer because I have some fruit. I've tried tape, fly traps, an electric fly swatter, a non-electric fly swatter, and two electric zippers with lightbulbs. The zappers needed less effort and struggled with them, but there were tough days too. So I tried this one. Pros: (1) it completely kills fruit flies better than any of the options I listed in the paragraph above; The little suction fan is an evil genius. (2) You can count them on the board if you want, which I find useful for tracking results. (3) It doesn't take up much space and is very light. (4) It is very easy to assemble and disassemble to replace Velcro: insert, pull out (discussed below). Cons: (1) It's probably more expensive than all the options in the first paragraph. It costs the same as the lamps, plus it needs small round sticky pads, each costing about 75 cents after tax and tax. It comes with 12 free ones. I just had to replace one that is on day 2. I hope the pace will slow down a bit. now that I've lit them! (2) It requires power and has a USB connector, so you can connect it to a USB battery. However, if you decide to use an outlet, you will need an electrical USB adapter. You probably have one, if you have a cell phone just say it's not included. (3) Some reviews expressed frustration at having to assemble it, but it's pretty much pointless: (1) Velcro tear-off disk goes in the bottom canister (2) The top section that contains the light and fan just slides down down and slides out to replace the paper. Please note that the case has a cut-out for the power cord. (4) The small cord is very flimsy and you will probably have to change the velcro many times with this device, so I will be very gentle and careful where this cord gets caught. and stress it as little as possible.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
