I have a problem with fruit flies every summer because I have some fruit. I've tried tape, fly traps, an electric fly swatter, a non-electric fly swatter, and two electric zippers with lightbulbs. The zappers needed less effort and struggled with them, but there were tough days too. So I tried this one. Pros: (1) it completely kills fruit flies better than any of the options I listed in the paragraph above; The little suction fan is an evil genius. (2) You can count them on the board if you want, which I find useful for tracking results. (3) It doesn't take up much space and is very light. (4) It is very easy to assemble and disassemble to replace Velcro: insert, pull out (discussed below). Cons: (1) It's probably more expensive than all the options in the first paragraph. It costs the same as the lamps, plus it needs small round sticky pads, each costing about 75 cents after tax and tax. It comes with 12 free ones. I just had to replace one that is on day 2.
