I synced it to my radio although I don't know how I did it. Yes I read the instructions but I couldn't get the station I had on the radio onto the unit. The unit seems to have settled on 89.9 so I tuned the radio to that. To my surprise it worked. Next, I connect my phone to the device. That also worked, but I still don't know how I did it. So I started playing music from my phone. The static was very loud. I thought damn this is no good. THEN I adjusted the volume of the car radio and the volume of the device. I don't know how, but it WORKS. The sound comes out well from all speakers. So the last test. I text my wife to call me. BAM.HANDS FREE PHONE SWITCH MUSIC.WORKS. DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT STATIS WAS BAD AND DIDN'T WORK. YOU NEED TO INCREASE THE VOLUME ON YOUR PHONE. THEN PLAY THE VOLUME ON YOUR RADIO AND STATION TO RELEASE THE STATIC.
