Looks good and stylish. The grinders have a smooth wood finish, but the wood holder has a few rough spots covered with blemishes. This is only noticeable if you look closely under the mills. "Sweet Alice" is clearly written on top (a cute gift for anyone named "Alice"). However, the salt/pepper mark is just a tiny "s" or "p" on the top handle. Not only did you have to look at them from above, but they were also not easy to read. Since you can't see the contents, I often use the wrong packaging. I would have liked the salt and pepper markers to be larger and visible from all sides. Rather than have the brand name printed so prominently on the metal, I would have preferred to have them inscribed "salt/pepper". I'll probably put a piece of tape on the side with a label ruining the aesthetic.
