I bought the 2TB version and it works with PS4 (current version is 4.50). At first he said he wouldn't support it, but after I restarted my PS4 it worked. Currently working as intended. After formatting, 1.84 TB can be used. It took 19 minutes to transfer 3 games (118.3GB) from internal hard drive to this external hard drive. I'll update if anything comes up. Edit: It's been a little over two months and it's still working as intended. To answer a frequently asked question: it works out of the box. Literally just plug it into your PS4, go to Devices in Settings, then USB Drives. It should appear there, select it, then it says "Format as Extended Storage" and select that. The external hard drive support is absolutely great. If you have a lot of downloadable games, you can just have multiple external hard drives and load all your games on them. You can then just plug in an external hard drive with the game you want and you're good to go. I highly recommend checking out how to set it up if you're still having trouble. It's very easy. Edit (July 5, 2019): Still working as expected.
