This isn't the first time I've used one of these kettles to brew tea, so in the preface to my review I have experience with them. I had one from Teavana and one from David's Tea. This one from BonJour is just as great but a lot smaller than the ones I've used before. This steeper drink makes about 16-18 ounces of drink and works great. You place your loose tea leaves, coffee, or tea bags in the inside of the teapot bowl, followed by hot water. Make sure you heat the water according to the type of drink you are making, don't boil it for green tea, for example. Then let the tea steep for the time allotted for that type of tea. When your tea is ready, simply pour this infusion onto the cup, the base will rise and the tea will drip straight into your cup from below. As soon as life gets cooler, the tea stops flowing. No mess and cleaning involves tossing leaves, sacks or shredded waste in the trash and cleaning out the cooler. The plastic mesh on the inner bottom of the spinner slides out for washing. It is very easy to use, cleans and makes wonderful tea! I will say that it is less than most of them and costs a little more than other brands. It's usually $20 for 24 ounces. However, this one is still beautiful.
