Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Roborock S5 MAX Global, black by Wiktor Wiktor ᠌
The right product for me, there were no problems.
Bought after the start of a dust storm in Hong Kong, it became difficult to clean manually. Now it works every day, the daily cleaning area is from 55 to 70 sq. M. I was skeptical about the expediency of rags and "smearing" dirt in all rooms, it turned out that everything is quite decent - indeed, a rag helps fight dust, but, to be honest in the review, it does not replace a full-fledged wet cleaning with chemistry. After the start of use - the difference is visible literally on the slippers, there is less dust - I won’t write more, otherwise it will turn out like in the review about the Samsung projection TV - in short - it really becomes cleaner;) The verdict is very simple - an absolutely irreplaceable thing, 100% worth its money!
Pros
- Actually, many, if not all, robotic vacuum cleaners have approximately similar advantages, but I don’t have much experience in using it, except for the old Rumba and Karcher with “click-and-go” modes, without clouds, cameras and other lidars: - never arrives with an empty container, always finds garbage; - collects small and rather large garbage; - perfectly knows how to zonal cleaning; - a well-built map, relatively easy to modify to suit your needs, can use different cleaning modes in different rooms (for example, go through the corridor a couple of times, vacuum and wash the children's room first, pour more water on the tiles, less on the laminate, well, and so on - very convenient and practical); - a very decent wet cleaning system as a bonus; - "cloud" - you can start cleaning before returning home from anywhere; - very easy to clean (quick-release bearings on the brush are a bonus, a fact, a brush for cleaning is included); - the container is enough for a couple of dry cleanings, the "tank" for water for one is quite large, convenient, which is important - it can ride without a water tank, it is NOT NEEDED for dry cleaning (this was not obvious to me personally before the purchase); - the container is elementarily cleaned, opening up to 180 gr.
Cons
- - the key, most annoying, most unpleasant moment is sometimes (well, or usually) not working Xiaomi "clouds", it simply refuses to work, this is the biggest minus (although in a normal use case - starting by a timer or by a button - in general , not so critical, but it infuriates me very much when you need to do a quick zonal cleaning - but instead you get up to "vacuum cleaner removed" in the application); - no support for WiFi 5Ghz - this savings is completely incomprehensible to me, the network still remained at home 2.4, but I had to add another Mikrotik from the old people for full coverage (a completely unnecessary action in most use cases); - it is inconvenient (=impossible) to drain the water from the container completely; - very (very, very!) does not like small cables, especially silicone ones - a cable forgotten on the floor will either stop the duster or turn it into a one-wheeled "disabled person", which tries to hobble with a roar and effects to the base, does not particularly digest "silicone" cables;
