Yes, yes, yes! In this age of technology, one would be surprised how difficult it is to find a 75-foot outdoor LED strip light with a phone app to control it. Everything I found didn't quite live up to the bill; too long, too short, didn't come with the app, didn't go in one continuous strip (they didn't either, but more on that later) couldn't be connected together by cutting and using connectors or there wasn't cool outdoor lighting. When I read someone's review that said these lights can be spliced together without having to cut and splice, I decided to give it a try. Oooh glad I did. As I mentioned earlier, it took me about 75 feet of total length to get the full length of my patio deck. With the length of cable running up the wall I was able to get an almost exact length of coverage. In fact, when I extended the power cord, it was a bit too long. The lights themselves aren't the brightest, but they give the patio the right atmosphere, which is exactly what I wanted. Correct, I didn't use the adhesive backing even though it was included. Instead I used clear clips along the roof to better ensure they stay in place. With a phone app I can control it from my hot tub without using a separate remote control. For less than $100 I was able to get a good patio party lighting solution without cutting a single wire or paying for professional lighting services who came in and charged me 20x that. although again the professional is probably much brighter. 4 stars is easy for these gems. For its value for money I honestly couldn't be happier.
