I have a tall height, apple shape, large waist and small hips. To keep my pants in place, I often have to wear the straps a little tight, which makes them uncomfortable during the day. This belt is completely different. My pants stay secure and I feel comfortable all day even when I'm at a desk. I've been wearing this belt 3-6 times a week for 4 months and it still looks as good as when I bought it. It shows no signs of wear or where the metal pin goes. I have since bought one for my husband and it is the only belt he wears now. I would recommend if you are between sizes, go down the smaller size if your size is relatively stable.
